What Can I do With a Major
Major: Biology Description of Major: Biology is the study of organisms on a cellular and molecular level, the genetics and development of organism, the function processes of living things, and the interrelationships of organisms within their environment. Students in this major learn a variety of biological sciences and do considerable laboratory work. Students also acquire skills in scientific thinking and insight into the biological world. This major can lead to many different possibilities in terms of occupations. Some go on to professional schools such as medical school or veterinary school. Others enter graduate school and research. Some characteristics of biology students are problems solving skills, communication skills, independent workers, and curiosity.
