HireMizzouTigers.com
Faculty and staff are encouraged to post part-time student positions on HireMizzouTigers.com, the online employment website for students. Job seekers can post their resumes and look for campus positions as well as internships, graduate assistantships and full-time jobs. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to direct employers to post their employment opportunities on HireMizzouTigers.com.
If you post a position and make an offer to an MU student, don’t forget to report your hire! This function is available on the site where you can alert us to the individual you employed.
Work Study Employment
Federal Work Study (FWS) is designed to give part-time employment to undergraduate and graduate students who need the income to help meet the costs of post secondary education and to encourage FWS recipients to participate in community service activities. The FWS program pays the student wage and helps faculty and staff find qualified students to add to their team.
Click on the link above to find out about the program, including: eligibility, posting positions, hiring students, payroll information, and employment procedures. While the Student Financial Aid Office determines eligibility and allocates Work Study funds to students, the MU Career Center works in collaboration with this office to do the following:
- Post employment opportunities
- Assist students with the selection of positions
- Answer Work Study Employment questions during Summer Welcome
- Provide training for employers
