Meet Career Specialist Jenna Rosenberger! Jenna is a junior at Mizzou on the pre-dietetics tract.
What are your Strengths? “Empathy. Includer. Input.Belief. Achiever”
What’s the last book you read? “I’m currently reading “Wasted” for class, which is an autobiography about eating disorders.”
What’s your dream job? “Dietician. I want to work with people with eating disorders specifically and I love working with people to better their lives.”
How did you know that was what you wanted to do? “I was originally on the pre-med track and wanted to do surgery. I wasn’t sure if it was what I really wanted to do so I weighed my values. I value a family life, which I wouldn’t get if I continued with pre-med. I was set up with mentor through the College of Human Environmental Sciences who influenced me to take my first nutrition class that I fell in love with.”
How can the Career Center prepare students for a career fair? “At the Career Center we recommend resume reviews and interview prep since the career fair often involves on the spot interviews and applications.”
