You can tell summer is over and fall classes are about to begin… students are walking around campus, there is a buzz to the downtown district and street parking is full! And while it’s exciting to be on the verge of a new semester, it will certainly be like no other. In the middle of a pandemic our lives look quite a bit different. And that’s true of campus support services like career services: we are still here to serve and support students but it will just be online! Please know that career services is committed to staying connected while we may be apart!
The Career Center prides itself in having “drop-in” services M-F from 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. No appointment is needed! This is also true for fall semester 2020, but instead of stopping by the lower level of the Success Center, students can Zoom in for a one-on-one chat. A staff member will greet you online and place you into a private chat room with a Career Specialist who can assist with any of your career questions: exploring majors, searching for part-time jobs, writing a resume and much more! Zoom details are on the Connect with our Staff web page.
For those that would prefer to schedule an appointment, you can simply reserve a time and date on MU Connect. Appointments will be conducted via Zoom phone and video calls.
