The Value of Your Mizzou Degree

Each year Mizzou collects exit surveys of graduates to learn about what they intend to do after they leave campus. The data we collect tells a story of success: for the past 3 years more than 95% of MU graduates have a successful outcome 6 months after spring graduation!

That means that Mizzou students are highly sought after for full-time jobs and readily admitted into graduate programs of study. And many Mizzou graduates go on to do freelance work and start their own businesses.

Here are some highlights of the survey:

  • 2,178 employers have hired Mizzou graduates, including 93 Fortune 500 companies. Nearly 1,000  companies came to campus to recruit Mizzou students!
  • MU graduates were accepted into 239 unique institutions to advance their studies. While Mizzou is the #1 destination students continue their studies, graduates are also headed to places like Arizona State, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, LSU, Michigan, Purdue, Wash U, University of Chicago and more.
  • Mizzou graduates reside in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 17 countries abroad. 65% of MU graduates remained in the Show-Me State.
