Career Exploration Resources

These are the resources we would recommend you first share with an exploring student. The sites and assessments help students identify their interests, research MU majors, discover occupations, and develop career development strategies. Additional exploration resources are available on Mizzou Career Tools, including a faculty toolkit of materials.

Additional career exploration and career preparation resources can be found in Mizzou Career Tools, our digital hub of student career information.

Student Career Readiness

Faculty are key in helping students reflect on how they develop career readiness skills in and out of the classroom. The NACE career readiness definition and sample behaviors provide a shared understanding and language for discussions.

CAREER OUTCOMES

Career services collect annual career outcomes data on recent MU graduates. The data is used in recruitment, university rankings, and accreditation. Ensure your department outcomes are accurate by encouraging graduating seniors to complete the survey.
