Spring Semester Hours
**Please note the Career Center is closed over Spring Break (March 25-29).**
Nearly all of our services are available on a drop-in basis. No appointment is needed. Just stop by between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Students meet one-on-one with a trained Career Specialist to address their career concerns such as choosing a major, applying for jobs, writing a resume, preparing for an interview and more. Please visit us on the lower level of the Student Success Center.
Featured Resource: Career Outcomes Website
Mizzou recently launched a new website detailing the career outcomes of Mizzou graduates from the past two years. The results tell a story of student success: Nine out of ten Mizzou graduates have successful outcomes within 6 months of graduation. The survey also provides detailed data on employment, salary, graduate school attendance and geographic location. The site includes interactive graphs on the following data points:
–Career Outcomes: what students are doing after graduation (employment, continuing education, military or volunteer service).
–Top Employers: A list of employers that hire the most MU graduates into full-time positions.
–Top Industries and an Industry Flowchart: Shows the career pathways of graduates from each School/College into various industry and career paths.
–Top Institutions for Continuing Ed: Indicates the universities where students continue their education.
–Geographic locale: The map shows the states and cities where our grads reside.
Nearly all of the data points listed above can be filtered by Class Year and School/College. If you have any questions about the outcomes data or website, please reach out to Amanda Nell in the MU Career Center.
