Summer Semester Hours

During the summer session (June 3-July 26), our services are available on a drop-in basis. No appointment is needed. Just stop by between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Students meet one-on-one with a trained Career Specialist to address their career needs such as choosing a major, applying for jobs, writing a resume, preparing for an interview and more. Please visit us on the lower level of the Student Success Center.

Note: During the intersession (May 20-31 and July 29-Aug 9), you may call to set up an appointment (573-882-6801).

Featured Resource: Job Search Series

In this digital age we have tons of resources at our fingertips. While we encourage students to do online research to source jobs and networking leads, the fact is there is an overwhelming amount of information out there and not all of it is very good!  So the Career Center created the Job Search Series which includes 20 handouts that feature job search engines, professional organizations and career-related sites based on geography and industry (e.g., Advertising & PR,  Science & Research, Helping Professions, and more). The MU Career Center staff carefully compiled and vetted the listings so that students can easily find reputable sources of online career information and job and internships leads. You can find them on the resources section of our website.
